I’m resuming my photo posting fairly soon here. I’ve managed to accumulate hundreds of mundane pictures. After all, they are all mundane pics. It’s easy to collect them.

In the mean while, keep requsts coming! I need some new ideas…

Yeah, I know. I suck at updating this site. But hey, at least I’m here to greet you faithful visitors!

I’m thinking of making some changes to this site, but I’m not sure where I would like to start. I guess the problem is that I might be the only one left still looking at this site. So, just to see the site still matters to some people, I’m asking everyone reading this to send me an email.

I decided to switch to email option for this entry since I’m not exactly sure if it’s such a good idea to list all people visiting this site. Thank you again for those who commented on this entry!! Wow, I’m glad to hear that there *are* indeed some people checking the site! I’m a little more motivated now… (And you can already see that in the fact that I’ve came here to update the entry within hours of the first update!)

I decided to renew the site design a little bit. Let’s say it’s going to be “Mundane Japan Reloaded.” More later…

Well, well, well. It’s been over two weeks since the last update, and unlike the last time this one has been purely out of laziness, forgetfulness and busyness. I now have dozens of interesting pictures to post but none of them have been posted yet.

My initial goal was to post one per day, but I am realizing now that it’s too frequent and too much work trying to compile enough materials well in advance. I also realize my initial goal of posting something daily worked against my motivation. It’s not like people are so desperate to check out my web site anyway (I don’t have 10,000 unique visitors complaining that I haven’t posted anything), and in general we are more likely to stick with doing something if we have some level of flexibility. Besides, we all have life to live, and this certainly isn’t the most important thing to take care of. It’s just for mundane fun. Nothing I should feel like pressured to do. Ridiculous.

So I changed the plan: I am doing less frequent update (Maybe trying to post something once a week but basically on post-whenever-I-feel-like-it basis) but more consistent update that I can stick with. Looking at the log it seems like many people really didn’t bother checking out back-logged articles in January, so I will probably move some of them to future dates. I do have a strong desire to play with this site more. It’s just that I would like it to be non-mandatory.

So, that’s my update of the day. Stay tuned… (And heck, maybe I will start posting more frequently than I’ve been with all the self-imposed pressure thing lifted and so on… silly)
