This is a site to show you all sorts of little details that you normally wouldn’t think that much in everyday life but might wonder about if it’s in an international context. The site mainly deals with Japan.

Example:

“What do they normally eat in a typical Japanese home everyday?”

“I wonder whether pizza in Japan is different from the US style pizza.”

“What do Japanese streets look like?”

“I wonder whether Japanese people still dress up like Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai.”

This web site tries to address that sort of thing.

The man behind the scene (me) has been roaming in Japan for the last 2 1/2years. My friends back home have always asked questions like the above examples, and I figured, “Heck, why not just answer them on the web.” Hence, this site was set up.
